Durable Rubberized Coating
Rubberized Primer
Bernet Rubberized Bitumen Primer, Hot Run (high-viscosity) and Cold Run (low-viscosity).
High-Viscosity and Low-Viscosity Primers for Strong Adhesion
Rubberized Bitumen Primer
Bernet Rubberized Bitumen Primer is an adhesion-promoting coating used to prepare concrete, masonry, metal, and similar substrates before applying bituminous membranes or asphaltic layers. Each grade below follows your PRIMER sheet exactly.
Engineered for Superior Adhesion and Waterproofing
Formulated for deep substrate wetting and reliable tack formation, our primer supports durable bonding and moisture protection. The Hot Run and Cold Run grades are optimized for different implementation methods on site.
Engineered for Bonding
Comprehensive Range of Rubberized Bitumen Primer
Bitumen Hot Run
Overview: High-performance polymer-modified bitumen primer formulated for hot application. Provides superior adhesion between bituminous waterproofing layers and concrete or metal substrates. Designed for long-term durability and reliable bonding under civil and structural conditions.
Indicative properties:
- Sample Grade: PRIMER PMB (Polymer Modified Bitumen Primer)
- Appearance: Black, high viscosity liquid
- Solvent Resistance: Poor
- Density @ 25 °C: Report
- Coverage: Depend on surface porosity
- Drying Time: Max 12 hour
- Viscosity @ 25 °C: Report
Applications: Primer/base coat on concrete, masonry, and metal prior to torch-applied or hot-applied bituminous systems and paving works.
Standards: Complies with ASTM D41 and ASTM D6997 testing standards as specified in the Technical Datasheet (Polymer Modified Bitumen Primer – Hot Run) for hot-applied polymer-modified bitumen primers used in heavy-duty waterproofing and bonding of concrete and metal surfaces.
Bitumen Cold Run
Overview: High-quality polymer-modified bitumen primer formulated for cold application. Ensures excellent adhesion between bituminous coatings and concrete, masonry, or metal surfaces without heating. Provides reliable bonding and long-term performance in civil and structural waterproofing applications.
Indicative properties:
- Sample Grade: PRIMER PMB (Polymer Modified Bitumen Primer)
- Appearance: Black, low viscosity liquid
- Solvent Resistance: Poor
- Density @ 25 °C: Report
- Coverage: Depend on surface porosity
- Drying Time: Max 12 hour
- Viscosity @ 25 °C: Report
Applications: Primer/base coat for large waterproofing surfaces (roofs, basements, tunnels) and as a spray/roller primer beneath bituminous sheets or emulsions.
Standards: Complies with ASTM D41 and ASTM D6997 testing standards as specified in the Technical Datasheet (Polymer Modified Bitumen Primer – Cold Run) for polymer-modified bitumen primers designed for cold-applied waterproofing and adhesion to concrete and metal substrates.
Applications of Cutback Bitumen
