High-Performance Polymer Modified Bitumen (PMB)

Polymer Modified Bitumen (PMB)

Bernet Bitumen manufactures premium Polymer Modified Bitumen (PMB) designed to enhance elasticity, cohesion, and long-term pavement durability. Produced from high-quality base bitumen blended with advanced polymers like SBS, EVA, and APP, our PMB formulations deliver exceptional performance in roads, bridges, airports, and waterproofing systems exposed to severe environmental stress.
All PMB grades are tested and certified according to IS 15462 (Indian Standard), EN 14023 (European Standard), ASTM D5976 (US Standard), and ANP 897/2022 (Brazilian Standard).

Engineered for Performance and Resilience

Modified with elastomeric or plastomeric polymers, PMB improves the binder’s ability to stretch, recover, and resist cracking. It combines the flexibility of rubber with the strength of plastics, offering a more durable, temperature-stable, and fatigue-resistant asphalt binder.
PMB retains its structure under both high temperatures (rutting resistance) and low temperatures (crack control), making it ideal for regions with large thermal variations or high traffic stress.
