High-Quality Viscosity Grade Bitumen

Viscosity Grade (VG & C) Bitumen

Bernet Bitumen produces a full range of Viscosity Grade (VG) and C-Class (Australian Standard) bitumens, engineered for precise performance control in diverse climates and traffic conditions.
Viscosity grading ensures consistent performance by measuring binder flow at specific temperatures, providing a far more reliable measure of pavement behavior than the older penetration system.
Our VG and C-grade bitumens are formulated from high-quality crude sources, refined and blended to meet the most stringent global specifications including IS 73:2013 (Indian Standard Viscosity Grades), ASTM D3381, and AUSTROADS AS 2008.

Engineered for Predictable Performance

Viscosity Grade Bitumen ensures that each product performs consistently at both mixing (135°C) and compaction (60°C) temperatures.
This precision control allows contractors and engineers to achieve:

  • Stable mixing and compaction temperatures
  • Predictable flow behavior across climates
  • Improved adhesion and resistance to rutting or fatigue
